Create teams and view combined analytics
Group employees and compare one or several teams in the same view.
What teams are for
Teams let you manage groups such as locations, languages, support tiers or product areas. You can assign training to a whole team and filter Overview and Team Analytics to that team without changing each member individually.
- Use stable groups that managers already recognise, such as “Tier 1 — EMEA” or “Billing specialists”.
- A person can belong to more than one team when they work across responsibilities.
- Keep team names specific. Names such as “Team A” become hard to understand in assignments and reports.
Create a team and add members
- 1Open Settings and select Teams.
- 2Enter a recognisable team name and click Add team.
- 3Click the new team to open it.
- 4Use Add people to search by name or email and add the right members.
- 5Remove someone from this team in the same panel when their responsibilities change. This does not remove them from the workspace.
- 6Rename the team from the team panel if its purpose changes.
Assign training to a team
- 1Open Courses or Quizzes and click Assign training.
- 2Choose whether to assign a course, one module or a quiz.
- 3Select the item and add a due date if one is needed.
- 4Select one or more teams. You can also add or remove individual employees before confirming.
- 5Confirm the assignment. People who already have that same item are skipped rather than receiving it twice.
View one or several teams
The team filter appears at the top of Overview and Team Analytics. It changes the people included in the page without changing the underlying records.
- 1Open Overview or Team Analytics and click the team filter at the top.
- 2Select one team to focus on it, or select several teams to combine their members in one view.
- 3Choose All teams to return to the complete workspace view.
- 4In Team Analytics, also select a date range before comparing completion, quiz results and topic accuracy.
How to compare teams fairly
- Compare teams over the same date range and on the same assigned material.
- Check how many people completed the work before drawing conclusions from an average score.
- A person in two selected teams is still one person in the combined view; their results are not counted twice.
- Use team results to find where support is needed, then open an individual member to understand their own assignments and history.
